The first pair of socks for
Summer of Socks are knitted in
Sunshine Yarns Sportweight: Field of Flowers. I used 2.75mm needles and knitted a plain sock and tried a Eye of Partridge Heel for the first time ever. I think it really suited this particular yarn :)

My sister-in-law bagged these when she saw me knitting them early on. It was her Birthday so why not :)
Those socks are wonderfully cheerful -- sure to put a smile on your SIL's face when she wears them! I don't think I'm going to have a pair done in time for the first part of SOS -- arrg! :-)
