My wool-winder I got on ebay but my swift is a hand-crafted work of art made by a lovely husband and wife team. And if I didn't have a 2 year old who likes to 'play' with everything my swift would always be on display with some beautiful yarn. My 9 year old says 'kewl' when he sees it in action. A compliment indeed. :)
BTW the lovely purple plummy yarn is YarnAddict's hand-dyed merino. :)

The winder and swift are my two most useful accessories too. I don't know what I would do without them.

I didn't recognise the yarn. LOL. I agree with the comments on the swift. I love mine and ca't live without it. Use it weekly. And it's on display in hte lounge.
