Socktopus socks....................

Another pair of socks on the needles. These are Hopscotch socks by Anna Bell. This is the 5th installment of the Socktopus 2007/2008 sock club. The yarn is a new yarn for me, Brooklyn Handspun soft spun plus in Toadstool. It is soft and buttery feeling and has lovely stitch definition. I heartily recommend it.

This is the first Short row heel I've ever knit. I won't know if i like it until I try them on though, I have a long heel. :)

Thank you for your yarn evaluation, I've added that website to my knitting folder and will keep it in mind for future yarn purchases. Your socks are always so spectacular and I look forward to your future postings.

What yummy socks, i love the pattern and it really does pop in the yarn, what a great combination!
As for short row heels... i like them, i like the way they make my socks look but i aalways have to knit an inch or so of stocking stitch on the heel needles as they come out too shallow for me! Hope yours fits though!! *blushing*
