This week's yarn is the first installment of the Winter Squee Plushness Club by Skein Queen. This colourway is Figgy Pudding to celebrate the festive season. I love the rich deep colours in this skein.

I can't wait to see how it knits up. On the knitting front I am half way throught the second of my Chatsworth socks but one sock has gone missing!!!! Damn!!!! They were meant to be a present for my lovely SiL......................................It has sort of put me off my stride, so I started another sock with different yarn, this time freestyle, we will see how that turns out soon :)

What lovely yarn :-)
A very Happy New Year to you to Gilraen.
In my experience, the missing sock will magically reappear just as soon as you have finished the repalcement pair ;-)
Happy New Year Gilraen :D
How delicious looking is that yarn? I could eat that!!!
Happy new Year too!! Hope you had a good one. Lovely yarn too, nice and warm colours....for socks again?? :)
Ohh..very pretty! Happy New Year!
Lovely yarn, and good luck with the missing sock!
I love it when you've been shopping - you always buy such lovely yarns.
Happy 2009 to you!
I feel like a kid opening a present when I visit your blog. The yarn you show is always fabulous! I am waiting for the Eclectic sock (its on back order). I've seen so many socks that you've knitted from this book that I just had to have it.
I hope you find the lost sock soon. The yarn is lovely.
Happy New Year! Hope you enjoy your helping of Figgy Pudding x
Did you make the Nicky Epstein flower scarf from the Vogue 25th anniversary? Did you need to do 47 repeats of the edging. I think it makes it too long.
