Another Micro Monkey pair done

I knitted these in KPPPM #460 purchased from Socktopus. I love these colours!!

Doesn't the colours look fabulous on this sole! These socks are on a UK childs shoe size 6.5.

Those socks are sooo sweet! As you know, I'm a sucker for Koigu as well. I'm beginning to think you have a problem with socks........!

Gorgeous socks

I too am frustrated by the Monkey swap - how people can not live up to their commitments - I just don't understand - because if you look at their blogs they are freely admitting that they are knitting other projects and not working on their monkey socks - that is what my PAL did - and an excuse at the last hour of the day they were do that they had finally cast on - I don't understand - and these are also the people who don't communicate with us during the process - which I am finding is the first clue we may be shafted - I can't believe - my pal had her package two weeks before the due date and I did nothing else but get her package done first and out of here when I had other things I could be doing too - and I also was disappointed in another swap that had plenty of time - I mistakenly took the person's silence as trying to be anonymous - and guess what an angel was assigned and has spent the last four months working on the socks which she said she'd do - and I have a hard time even looking at her blog because she is ultra religious and I don't even understand what she is saying by the time she mixes in her bad kids and louse of a husband comments - BOTTOMLINE - I'm reevaluating my participation in SWAPS all together because people are just unreliable to live up to their word - Did their parents teach them to be this way? I doubt it. I guess I'd rather just knit socks in colors and styles I know I'd like. If only one hostess would pair me up with a normal person who did what they said they'd do and would occasionally blog about it and get the package out by the due date. OK I'm done - thanks for letting me vent - Did not feel I should on the official Monkey line because Rebecca has been trying to get the person to send an email update but they just are not doing that either - hard to make someone live up when there are no penalties = and not being in the next version of Monkey Four won't hurt their feelings - and the person who is shafting me openly blogs about what a great package they received and took 10 pictures of what they received and gushed over each piece - Unbelievable

Your socks look absolutely fantastic - so very cozy and warm! And I agree, the colorway that you chose is stunningly beautiful! Happy Knitting!

Thank you for all the lovely comments about the socks. I appreciate all the lovely feedback. :)

Anonymous I totally sympathise, I'm clocking this one up to experience and moving on. I will call it a PIF experience and move on with my life. I had a wonderful recipient pal Sheryl and that has made the swap bearable for me. :)
