The first pair of socks for Summer of Socks are knitted in Sunshine Yarns Sportweight: Field of Flowers. I used 2.75mm needles and knitted a plain sock and tried a Eye of Partridge Heel for the first time ever. I think it really suited this particular yarn :)
Eye of Partridge Heel detail, perfect with this particular yarn :)
My sister-in-law bagged these when she saw me knitting them early on. It was her Birthday so why not :)

Those socks are wonderfully cheerful -- sure to put a smile on your SIL's face when she wears them! I don't think I'm going to have a pair done in time for the first part of SOS -- arrg! :-)
They look fab. So bright and colourful.

I love the heel, very nice socks!
Fantastic colours. My sock knitting is having a short break as I've got some job knitting to do.
Those are adorable, and the colours patterned up so nicely! <3
I agree about the EoP heel.

The socks are fab! Happy colors!! Really like them. I´m sitting outside (not in the sun) sewing my Plissé by Hanne Falkenberg together. Finally an ufo that turned into an fo!! Yay!!
