YPF.............................Droll

This week's stunning skein comes from a recent Posh Yarn update. The yarn is an old favourite Emily. The colourway is Droll. I was unsure as to why this particular name but saw this definition on my travels and am content that this may have been the reason.
–noun
2. a droll person; jester; wag.

The intensity of the colours is amazing!!

as is the variegation of colours.

The softness of this yarn is mindblowing

Just look at the rich depth, almost jungle/parrot like colours. Do you like?

March socks.............................

I finally grafted the last toe last night. The new wooden blockers are lovely. They are the second 'extra' in the Socktopus Bells and Whistles Sock Club. There is a lovely cut-out motif of a ball of yarn and needles, thank you Alice.

The socks are No Purl Monkeys in Posh Yarns Emily ~ Pomegranate. Dpns 2.75mm and a 14 stitch pattern instead of 16 stitches. The cuff is a 2x2 rib instead of twisted rib. I just think it suits the yarn better. :)

I also finished the first of another pair of No Purl Monkeys in Fiesta Baby Boomerang ~ Rainforest. Dpns 2.5mm and a full 16 stitch pattern. This sock also has a 2x2 rib cuff. :) I really like this yarn, it is sleek and well twisted, a bit like STR or Jitterbug. As you can see, no pooling either. I got the yarn from The Loopy Ewe.
One more sock to go and then to cast on for my Monkey Sock Swap 4 socks. :)

No Purl Posh Monkeys

I finished these on Sunday but had to wait until today to graft and photograph them. They are georgeous and I can hardly wait to wear them :) They fit into my projects for: SAM5, SockDown January on Ravelry, Sock Yarn Project 2008 and my knitting from Stash challenge on Craftythreadsnyarn forum :) I got this particular skein from a forum member Ali

Detail on the heel. I used Grumperina's Pretty method to do the heel gusset.

July's Sock-a-Month sock, one down........

This is knitted in Posh Yarns Emily. I first knitted a picot edging, thinking I would do Monkeys but then just knitted a slouch style pattern as these are almost certainly for a Christmas present. The recipient will probably use them as house socks, hence the slouch style. :) Now to get cracking with the next one so I finish my July pair for Sock-a-Month. :)
