Oooh Gilraen its gorgeous! I might be what I was looking for, for my mum's shawl. Did Kirsty dye it especially for you? And have you knitted any up yet? Sorry for all the questions :-)
Piglottie it is a regular yarn but she did dye it for me. Here is a picture of it knitted by Roobeedoo. Kirsty is great, she will dye it for you I'm sure if you ask :)http://roobeedoo.blogspot.com/2007/01/sampling-cinders.htmlI hope it's what you are looking for, you have been looking for some time. :)
Thanks so much Gil! Its exactly what I'm looking for - I knew it was a case of "I would know it when I saw it". Off to email Kirsty now and thanks again.
The colours in that yarn are just fantastic. Looks like a joy to knit. And the sock yarn in the previous post is gorgeous too! Hope the socks are going well - I have just completed my first pair ever, and I'm going to have to knit another pair soon so they can go in the wash!
Piglottie I'm delighted to help :)You will be delighted with it, so soft, colours are amazing and the smell is lovely too. :)Jacquie I've done a little more but I took today off to do housework, it was depressing me and my 3 'boys' were making it worse! So once it's clean and tidy I can sit and relax and do some knitting, hurrah! :)
I can see why Piglottie wants this one!!! - The colours are just so subtle without being wishy-washy. It's really beautiful!
